No. 7139 Recommended Action It is recommended that the City Council and Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District 1) Award a construction contract for the Ranchero Road Aqueduct Crossing of the Ranchero Road Corridor Widening Project (C.O. No. 7139) to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder, Beador Construction Company, Inc. for the base bid amount of $18,824,700; 2) Approve a 10% contingency in the amount of $1,882,470 for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of $20,707,170; 3) Approve the design of the project represented by the plans and Contract Documents and Specifications; and 4) Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the contract and any documents related thereto.

Recommended Action

 

It is recommended that the City Council and Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District

1) Award a construction contract for the Ranchero Road Aqueduct Crossing of the Ranchero Road Corridor Widening Project (C.O. No. 7139) to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder, Beador Construction Company, Inc. for the base bid amount of $18,824,700;

2) Approve a 10% contingency in the amount of $1,882,470 for a total not-to-exceed contract amount of $20,707,170;

3) Approve the design of the project represented by the plans and Contract Documents and Specifications; and
