Award Construction Contract for Caliente Emergency Road Repair
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the City Council and Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District:
1. Adopt Joint Resolution No. 2026-51 and Hesperia Water District Resolution No. 2026-21 amending the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Budget by appropriating $188,000 to Fund 700;
2. Award a construction contract for the Caliente Emergency Road Repair (Project) to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder, Cooley Construction, Inc. for the bid amount of $148,841; approve an additional 10% contingency in the amount of $14,885, for a not-to-exceed total construction contract amount of $163,726; and
3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the contract.
